There are many ways to cover the cost of your HE experience at MIHE. Learn more about tuition fees, extra costs and scholarships to fund your studies.
Academic Course fees

What's included? The fees includes registration, tuition, examination/assessment marking and graduation. It excludes: study materials, re-examination, residential accommodation, meals, travel, graduation robes and photographs. Please also note that the tuition fees above are for ONE YEAR of study, and therefore, those on undergraduate programmes that are more than one year, will need to pay the above tuition fees for each year of study.
Extra costs
Books
You may want to purchase some books relevant to your course. You can search websites such as Amazon for second hand copies or borrow from the library.
Accommodation
The institute does not provide accomodation directly. Please visit Campus and Accomodation for more information.
Retakes
Should you have to re-take a module after failing a third time, there will be a charge of £750 for a 20 credit module and £1500 for a 40 credit module.
Scholarships
Several student finance options are available to eligible students. These include SLC (student loans company) loans to help cover tuition fees and living costs.
MIHE occasionally has funds available to support enrolled students with full scholarships, partial scholarships, or assistance with financial hardship. As these are limited funds, students must apply formally, and decisions are based on factors including: academic performance, attendance records, household income, and other relevant circumstances.
